2. Data We Collect
Purchase data
When you purchase a product, your transaction is processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. We receive only the information necessary to fulfil your order (email address, order details). We do not store payment card data. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy applies to the checkout process: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
Server log files
Our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files, including browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and IP address. This data cannot be attributed to specific persons and is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interests).
Email contact
If you contact us by email, we store your email address and message content to process your enquiry and for any follow-up questions. We delete this data once it is no longer required. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract performance) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interests).
Newsletter
If you sign up for a free guide or newsletter, we collect your email address to send you the guide and a short follow-up email series, and afterwards occasional updates about Sirius Method. We use MailerLite as our email service provider to manage this list and send these emails on our behalf: MailerLite's privacy policy applies to their processing. Sign-up uses double opt-in: you receive a confirmation email and must actively confirm before your address is added to any list. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent). MailerLite records basic delivery statistics for these emails, including whether an email was opened and whether a link inside it was clicked, using a tracking pixel and link tracking. Every email includes an unsubscribe link; using it withdraws your consent and stops all further processing for this purpose. We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed.
3. Web Analytics (Umami) — No Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising pixels or cross-site tracking. To understand how the site is used (e.g. which pages are visited, which sources visitors come from, and whether checkout buttons are clicked), we use Umami Cloud, a privacy-friendly web analytics service provided by Umami Software, Inc., 28 Geary St, Suite 650 #243, San Francisco, CA, USA. Umami does not use cookies, local storage or any other persistent identifiers and does not track you across websites.
Processed data: page URL, referrer, campaign parameters in the link (UTM tags), browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, and country/region derived from your IP address. Your IP address is not stored; visits are counted using an anonymised identifier that cannot be traced back to you. No personal profile is created. We have selected data storage in the EU and concluded a data processing agreement with Umami (Art. 28 GDPR). As Umami is based in the USA, access to data from the USA cannot be ruled out; any such transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c GDPR), which are part of this agreement. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in anonymous reach measurement and improving our offer). Because no information is stored on or read from your device beyond what is technically necessary to deliver the page, no consent is required under § 25 TDDDG. You can object at any time, for example by using a content blocker; this does not affect your use of the site.
Separately, if you actively opt in to the newsletter described above, MailerLite tracks opens and link clicks for those emails as part of that consent-based service, not through this website.
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by domainfactory GmbH, Oskar-Messter-Str. 33, 85737 Ismaning, Germany. When you visit this site, the hosting provider processes your IP address and the request data described under “Server log files” above, solely to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and reliable presentation of our website). More information: df.eu/de/datenschutz.
